Composition and determination of the Artillery Reconnaissance Set DPK:
DPK preferably uses passive methods of multispectral survey, allowing the crew to operate during the day and at night, in order to ensure sufficient resistance before the system is detected by the enemy.
A stereoscopic telescope built into the vehicle's tower is a means of detecting and identifying targets at long distances in good visibility.


The optimal degree of automation of the operator's activity is the reduced influence of the human factor on the errors caused by the operator, while at the same time shortening the time needed to calculate the coordinates of targets and explosions and to prepare sent messages.


The navigation autonomy of the set is ensured by an inertial navigation system cooperating with the trigonometric positioning system, supplemented by a GPS receiver and astroorientation.
The vehicle is further equipped with means for conducting a sound level survey, capable of operating and processing the data autonomously.
DPK devices make it possible to detect and indicate the irradiation of the vehicle with a laser and thus alert the operator to the irradiation of the vehicle.
Internal communication between crew members is performed using the BCC 600 internal intercom.
The operator has the possibility of an interactive way of communication with the control system (on-board computer).


Artillery reconnaissance set is built into a modified vehicle DP-90 and to fulfill the tasks of long-term survey is equipped with a field kitchen PK5, space for storage of food for the entire crew for 7 days, tanks and a water bag in a total volume of 180 l, a tent for 2 people and a bed arrangement of two seats on both sides of the vehicle body.


Artillery reconnaissance set is a modern reconnaissance system designed for:
continuous research in the field of the sector of interest,
automated target location detection,
automated detection of the position of landmarks,
automated detection of the vehicle's own position,
automated aiming (detection) of explosion coordinates
automated creation of reconnaissance reports and their subsequent transmission via radio channel to the fire control system DELSYS.
sending this data in real time semi-automatically by transferring data to the fire control system and combat command DELSYS
repair of artillery fire on call DELSYSu to cooperate for shooting targets


He may perform these activities from his own territory or from the territory occupied by the enemy.

DPK consists of the following basic components:
* chassis DP-90, ie. artillery observatory, which, however, has no built-in reconnaissance equipment and has so far served only as a transport vehicle for artillery reconnaissance units.

A profitable targeting system (VSZC) has been developed to provide an alternative survey outside the DPK. Its main area of activity is the dimensions unattainable for the reconnaissance vehicle, extended observables and simple artillery fire control systems. The system is constructed modularly and allows the selection of the optimal set according to the task


It is stored in portable packaging and transported in a DPK vehicle.
It is intended for:
· Finding goals day and night,
· Automatic calculation of their map coordinates,
· Automated determination of one's own position by standard methods with additional determination of one's own direction by gyrocompass or astroorientation,
· Automated preparation of messages and their transmission in the digital radio network.


The radio connection can be realized between the DPK vehicle, the profitable targeting system and the DELSYS system.
The connection is technically secured by a VHF radio station in the mode of control of all functions by the control computer. In DPK, the role of this computer is performed by the computer of the commander in the tower.
The two-point connection mode is the basic mode of the communication system. It also enables operation in the radio network consisting of the DPK vehicle, the DELSYS system and a profitable targeting system. Profitable system resp. its communication computer with the VHF radio station may alternatively operate in end station or retransmission point mode.
The connection with the selected unit of the missile army is realized by a HF radio station, which, in addition to the above task, also fulfills the role of a spare connecting means to ensure a connection over longer distances.
The exchange of messages on the FM radio network takes place completely automatically. The operator is only involved in creating some types of reports. After creating the message, the operator decides when to send it. The next procedure of confirmation, retransmission, or repetition of the message takes place completely automatically and the operator is only informed about the status of the ongoing communication.
