Another engineer vehicle on the T-34 chassis, was the technical assistance vehicle WPT-34 (wóz pogotowia technicznego), in two versions according to the used machine bottom. T-34-85, SU-85M or SU-100 and designed for technical or first medical aid to the crews of damaged tanks.
[In the case of the T-34-85machine underbody, the changes were quite extensive and included raising the ceiling of the crew compartment by 750 mm, creating a forward-opening one-piece door in the left side armour for loading any wounded on folding stretchers, which were also part of the equipment. Above this door was a storage platform for a 1t capacity manual 'A' crane, this was fixed non-rotating above the platform in the working position, this meant the whole vehicle moved when the load was moved. Behind the crew compartment, a removable all-metal 2.4t body was created above the engine compartment, covered by a canvas shelter in the event of bad weather. There were a considerable number of lashing and anchor points for gear and ropes all over the surface of the vehicle.
The crew consisted of 5 men, having for defence, in addition to their personal weapons, a DT tank machine gun in a standard firing range and a PLk DŠK 12.7mm lafetted in a swivel firing range, including a gunner's hatch on the ceiling of the crew compartment.
In addition to technical equipment, the additional equipment included basic medical equipment.
Neither the winch nor the support plough were fitted as standard, but an auxiliary winch could be carried on the hull. (the hull and this winch were of a similar design to machines of the same purpose produced in the USSR)

The SU-85M or SU-100 machines were built during the 1960s and the modification consisted in covering the hole after the armament was removed with armour plate. On the port side there was again a storage platform for a 1t capacity hand-held "A" crane, this was fixed non-rotatably above the platform in the working position, this meant moving the whole vehicle when moving the load. Behind the crew compartment, a removable all-metal 2.4t body was created above the engine compartment, covered by a canvas shelter in the event of bad weather. Again, there were a considerable number of lashing and anchor points for gear and ropes all over the surface of the vehicle. The crew consisted of 5 men, having for defence, in addition to their personal weapons, a DT tank machine gun, mounted in a swivel lightly armoured turret replacing the hatch of the standard turret. Again, neither the winch nor the support plough was fitted as standard, but an auxiliary winch could be carried on the hull or aft. (The hull and this winch were of a similar design to machines of the same designation produced in the USSR.)
