2. Marine-Brigade Ehrhardt (Brigade Ehrhardt)

2. Marine-Brigade Ehrhardt - The 2nd Marine Brigade Ehrhardt was formed on 01/1919 in Wilhelmshaven to fight the Spartacists.
Participated in the end of the Socialist Republic of Oldenburg-Ostfriesland in 02/1919, she was also in action in Berlin in 03/1919, in Brunswich 04/1919 and against the Munich Republic Council in Munich in 04-05/1919.
Hundreds of Freikorps who fought in the Baltic joined the unit after returning to Germany.
She took part in the suppression of the Kapp-Lüttwitz coup and then took part in the campaign against the communist uprising that followed the coup. The brigade was disbanded by order of General Hans von Seeckt.
It continued to operate under various coverings, such as the Association of Former Officers Ehrhard and the Sports Association Olympia (Bund ehemaliger Ehrhardtoffiziere and Sportverein Olympia).
