CIMBUŘÍ - zakončení horní části starověkých a středověkých hradeb, BAŠT a věží opatřené zděnými ozuby (střílnami), sloužícími jako úkryt obránců. Ozuby byly pravidelně střídány prolukami (výhledy), sloužícími pro pozorování, palbu z luků, kuší a později i z palných zbraní. Výjimečně mohly být proluky zakryty sklápěcími dřevěnými deskami.
