CAT'S EARS - specific name INTERNAL DOUBLE-SIDED capons with two semicircular protrusions provided with infantry loopholes for flanking its walls. It was a typical feature of the Austrian engineering school in the polygonal fortification system, it can also be found in some Russian fortifications.
