Brigáda bola sformovaná k 01.04.1942 v rámci Severokaukazského vojenského okruhu.
Súčasťou brigády bolo:

Bojovala v zostave jednotiek 63. armády.


V októbri 1942 brigáda zanikla prevedením na formovanie 49. gardového tankového pluku a 134. tankového pluku.
