The complete system is housed in the rear of the vehicle HMMWV on the weapons superstructure, where, in addition to the missile containers of the STINGER complex, a sensor system consisting of an infrared camera, a daylight camera, and a laser rangefinder is located.

The gun mount can rotate between 360° in the beam and -10° to +70° in the yaw.
In addition to the FIM-92 STINGER missiles, the system can also use modified Russian 9K38 IGLA complex missiles.
