Oxidation tanker built on the basis of a truck KrAZ-255B. Used in the anti-aircraft missile complex S-200. The device should be able to operate in the temperature range of -40 ° to + 50 ° C.

The AKC-4-255B tank truck is designed for the transport and short-term storage of oxygenator. Transportation and storage of other products was strictly prohibited.
The tank truck can transport the oxygenate on roads with different surfaces and in the field at ambient temperatures ranging from - 40°C to + 50°C.
The purpose-built equipment is mounted on the chassis of a KRAZ-255B 6 x 6 heavy off-road vehicle. The chassis has been partially modified for mounting the special-purpose device (the right fuel tank of the car has been moved to the left side to the footrest area).


AKC-4-255B is composed of :
- KRAZ-255B chassis,
- pump cabinet,
- boiler hatch cover,
- special electrical and air equipment,
- boiler,
- side cabinets,
- rear cabinets.
Hoses used : SRG hermetically welded steel hoses, 32 and 70 mm clearance.


Main technical data :
T T D of the vehicle are identical to those of the KRAZ-255B.


Centrifugal pump NKT-30 - centrifugal - single stage - right hand - cantilever type.
Pump flow : 7,5 l/sec.
Max. speed : 2680 / min.
Power input : 11 kW
Time required to fill ( empty ) the boiler :10 - 15 min.
Auxiliary pump NP-4D ( PR-1-1) - manual - piston.
Useful boiler volume : 4250 l
