Anti-aircraft gun vz.37 calibre 7,5 cm
Skoda system gun with wedge breech of Ing. Josef Hruška, produced by Akciová společnost, formerly Škoda Plzen (factory designation R 3).
The gun consisted of a barrel, a lafette and a chassis. The autofretted barrel of shell construction was equipped with a semi-automatic vertical wedge breech, a stretch brake, a hydraulic brake and a strut-type wobbler with a balancer, and had a constant slip. It was mounted, together with the sights, on a crossguard with pivoting arms.
The gun was transported on a four-wheel chassis and towed by a Skoda Z tractor.
The weapon was equipped with a system of electrical transmission of elements for indirect firing and a new central sight of the vz. 37.
The weapon was accepted into service as early as August 1937, but by the autumn of 1938 only four units had been produced.
