CZK - vz.30 (6,6cm lodní dvojkanón)

Ship's double cannon vz. 30 calibre 6,6 cm

A weapon of the Škoda system, produced by Akciová společnost, formerly Škoda Plzen.
The gun was designed as a double-barrelled gun, with both barrels in a common cradle. It was equipped with a semi-automatic, vertical wedge bolt with mechanical firing, allowing both barrels to be fired simultaneously or individually, each barrel had a liquid brake and a spring-loaded recoil spring. The high aiming point allowed firing against aircraft. The gun's breech was firmly connected to the turret floor and also formed its supporting structure, the entire turret being mounted on a ball track allowing full sighting.
The gun was manufactured with the entire turret in two pieces in 1930 and installed on the patrol boat President Masaryk.
