Tupolev Tu-104A
A variant of the Tupolev Tu-104A represents the basic serial variant of the aircraft the Tupolev Tu-104. The first aircraft modified to this standard have been adapted from the original trio of prototypes. These received improved engines, Welfare AM-3M and the capacity of their travel to the cabin has been extended to 70 passengers. Serial production of aircraft Tu-104A was launched in January, 1956, and the first serial aircraft were on the lines of Aeroflot deployed 15.9.1956 on the route Moscow-Irkutsk.
