U Chomutova byla ze SSSR vysazena skupina VITOVSKÝ. Československým zástupcem byl šéfkuchař Emil Vitouš (6.3.1913). Další podrobnosti o činnosti skupiny nejsou známy.

Po výsadku v západních čechách se Vitoušovi nepodařilo spojit s místními lidmi, proto se přesunul do Prahy, kde vyhledal svou matku. Poté se částečně skrýval v trampském srubu v Posázaví, případně na Vinohradech. Během Pražského povstání vyzíval rusky k urychlení ruské pomoci Praze. Proto jej 10. či 11. května vyhledal důstojník Rudé Armády v koženém kabátě.
