ZAREVO

The ZAREVO group from the USSR was stationed near Banská Bystrica. The Czechoslovak representatives were Chief of Staff Vladimír František Kadlec (January 15, 1924) and Baker Vladimír František Samek (November 12, 1921). The group penetrated Moravia, the Zlín area, and later the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands (Tišnov - Žďár - Cikháj - Fryšava). In the last days of the war, Kadlec was severely wounded and treated in a hospital in Nové Město na Moravě. After the war he lived in the USSR. On December 21, 1944, Samek was severely wounded near Krasnice, captured and imprisoned until the end of the war.
