Letov Š-328V

Aircraft W-328V is plovákovou variant of the aircraft Š-328. In this type of the basic design of the aircraft Š-328 dismantled wheeled chassis and replaced the floats purchased by the british company Short. The aircraft had also demontovanou camera and instead were equipped with radiostanicí and equipment for the towing of targets.

The first přestavěným aircraft was W-328-18 (from the first series of the Š-328 transmitted by the Czechoslovak air force). He was from the airport in Prague-Kbely ferried the landscaped area next to the south Žehuňského of the pond where it mechanics eva wheeled chassis, and replace it with structures with floats. The aircraft for the first time on the floats started 27.6.1935 and has demonstrated the ability to fully operate with float landing gear. Gradually it here to complement the aircraft Š-328-19, W-328-20 and Sh-328-21,which also underwent renovation. After completion of the tests the aircraft were dismantled and transported to the base of the training shootings in the Bay of Kotor (Yugoslavia), where he served for towing practice shooting targets in the exercises of the Czech anti-aircraft army..
