55th (Kent) Anti-Aircraft Regiment - an anti-aircraft regiment, cočasť Royal Artillery and Territorial Army.



Organisational structure 03.09.1939 - deployment - Chatham Area, Eastern Command
Súčasť: 28th (Thames and Medway) Anti-Aircraft Brigade
Zloženie:
Veliteľstvo - Rochester
166th (City of Rochester) Batttery - Rochester
308th Battery - Rochester
163rd (Kent) Battery - Chatham
307th Battery - Tunbridge Wells


The unit remained in the 28th (Thames and Medway) Anti-Aircraft Brigade line-up after the reorganisation of the PVO in the autumn of 1940 (09/1940).
[From November 1942 (11/1942) the regiment operated in the PAI Force(Persian and Iraqi Force) in Iraq and Iran.
[From April 1943 (04/1943) the regiment is assigned to the Middle East Force and operates in North Africa.
From July 1943(07/1943) it is in the 8th Army in Sicily and from September 1943(09/1943) it is in the 8th Army deployed in Italy.
