64th (Northumbrian) Anti-Aircraft Regiment

64th (Northumbrian) Anti-Aircraft Regiment- an anti-aircraft regiment, part of the Royal Artillery and Territorial Army.

179th (Tynemouth) Battery - North Shields
180th (Tynemouth) Battery - Seaton, Delaval
268th (Durham) Battery - Consett


In July 1943 (07/1943) the regiment was moved to North Africa under Allied Force Headquarters.
From September 1943 (09/1943) the regiment became part of the 8th Army and was deployed to Italy.
In February 1945 (02/1945), the unit moved to northwestern Europe under 2nd Army.
