Containers system LANTIRN suspended under the aircraft F-15E Strike Eagle. The system consists of two containers, navigation AN/AAQ-13 and aiming AN/AAQ-14.
AN/AAQ-13: Weight: 195 kg Length: 1,985 m Width: 0,355 m Height: 0,546 m It contains a radar for the monitoring of terrain (TFR - terrain-following radar) and infrared sensor (FLIR - forward-looking infrared sensor).
AN/AAQ-14: Weight: 245 kg Length: 0,250 m The width (diameter): 0,381 m Contains the infrared sensor and laser designator and distance meter.
