Funkcionári Hlinkovej gardy
The Hlinka Guard had the following commanders:
- Local commands
- District commands
- Regional commands.
Each Hlinka Guard command consisted of one commander, one deputy and officers. Each command had one organizational and personal, propaganda and political, training, educational or outreach and economic officer.
The local commanderľ was the direct superior of all units built in the village or town. The requirements for a local commander were the same as for a district commander, so only a reserve officer could become one. Exceptions were allowed only in a village where there were no officers or officers who did not correspond to the HG principles. In such a case, reservist NCOs or reservists who had command and organizational skills could also be nominated.
The district commander commanded all local commanders and units formed in the district. A district commander could only be a reserve officer who had organizational and leadership skills. At the same time, he had to command the confidence of the HG and the population. An officer who was of an anti-autonomist mindset could not be a commander.
The Area Commander controlled and directed the district commanders and all formed units in the area. The area commander was to be ať officer under the above principles, and possibly a reserve officer of higher rank. The officer was selected by the commander from the subordinate unit. The referee did not have to have a rank or position in the unit.
A propaganda or political officer could only be an autonomist, and his task was to monitor the citizens and guardsmen of his district. Underľand possibilities, it was necessary that he be a good rečn with the necessary education and completely reliable.
The training officers could be reserve officers, underľand possibly course graduates, thoroughly proficient in individual andž to unit training.
The education or outreach officer took care of moral education by arranging lectures, entertainments, assisted in organizing programs for public speaking, and maintained a professional book. These officers were chosen by the commandant from among the kňažst, professors, teachers, and other
cultural workers.
The Economic Officer was to beť appointed from among bank or economic officials, merchants, etc., who were entrusted with the economic side čof the HG's activities.
The commanders were personally responsible to the main command of the HG for each of their čin, thus also for the conduct of the functionaries of their command. The selection of persons for the individual commands had to be submitted to the Main Command in the form of a proposal. Each superior command attached to the file its opinion of the proposed person. The proposals were confidential. The commanders and their referees were appointed by the Main Command of the HG.
