Historie:
Originally a German merchant steamer, SS Aenne Rickmers (Rickmers Line / Rickmers Reismühlen, Rhederei & Schiffbau AG, Bremen) seized by the British Navy at Port Said at the beginning of World War I on 4 August 1914.
Converted to a seaplane carrier in November 1914 (?) and used by the Allies in the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean from January 1915. It was originally to be loaned to the French for patrolling off the Syrian coast.
On 11 March 1915 she was badly damaged by a Turkish torpedo, and was repaired until June 1915.
Officially commissioned into the Royal Navy on 5 August 1915.
On 6 August 1915 renamed HMS Anne.
She was decommissioned from the Royal Navy on 8 August 1917.
In January 1918 sold for civilian service.
In 1939 renamed Ithaki and in service that same year with Wallem & Co. Ltd. to Moldova.
In 1954 it was renamed Jagrahat, but the following year it was again named Moldova.
From September 1958 scrapped in Hong Kong.

18. January 1915 reported the seaplane from Aenne Rickmers troop movements west of Beersheby.
19. January 1915 reported the seaplane from Aenne Rickmers 10 000 troops in the vicinity of Beersheby.
11. march 1915: During participation in the naval blockade of Smyrna was Aenne Rickmers torpedoed in the front part of the hull of the Turkish torpedo boat Demir Hissar, but a cargo of wood and timely hitting on the shore protected it from sinking. After makeshift repairs from the ship's HMS Reliance there have been a total repair in Alexandria, after whose completion the ship was no longer under the name HMS Anne transferred to the Royal Navy.
31. April, 1916, leaves Anne to the reconstruction of Malta. The French department of the seaplanes operating from this ship he was removed from the squadron and moved into the lagoon near Port Said.
21. June 1916 came in HMS Ben-my-Chree to the Suez for deployment in the Red sea, while the HMS Anne was at the same time served in Malta, and armed with the 76.2 mm gun.
6. August 1916 is Anne met with the French forces and her seaplane to carry out observations for their weapons attacking at Mersin and successfully bombed some targets.
12. August 1916 is Anne returned to Port Said.
27. August 1916 after the successful attack on the El Afuleh was looking HMS Raven II after the mines and submarines north of Adalie, while Anne she returned to Port Said.
1. September 1916 sailed Anne into the Red sea as a replacement for damaged , Raven II.
1. in march 1917, was Anne (the already nepovažována for the seaplane carrier) replaced by initially balloon ships City of Oxford.
