-the pilot of the SVZ, príslušník stíhacej squadron 13

Jozef Film was born about Tall nad Kysucou. The army vstúpil koncom 30-tych years (1937?). After reorganizácii SVZ slúžil in squadron 13. 25. februára to 5. júla 1942 sa attended training pilotov in dánskom Grove. It was preškoľovanie Slovak pilotov and pozemného personnel on the machine Bf 109 E.

27.10.1942 sa squadron 13 presunul on východnú front-specifically, on the airport Majkop. The day 31.01.1943 odštartoval together with rtk. Cyprichom on voľný hunting. Pri letisku Kropotkin natrafili on pristávajúce Russian lietadlá (under nem. sourceand it was about Il-2; Slovak spring neudáva type). Cyprich so Švejdíkom lietadlá attacked, pričom zostrelili every one airplane. Švejdíkov machine, however, bol zasiahnutý and pilot pri páde died. During the summon career dosiahol Joseph in the Film one zostrel (Il-2 of 31.1.1943).

Teórie about the fact that the Film bol zostrelený during the attempted pristátie on letisku (dezercia) are unlikely, keďže just predtým zostrelil sovietske airplane and after pristátí on sovietskom letisku, would sa him iste received heartfelt prijatia.
