It is a relatively well-illustrated picture book, which is interspersed and supplemented by occasional texts, which especially the younger generation seem very funny (these are various workers', socialist and communist slogans - CSLA in the service of the socialist homeland; Union of the Army and People; CSLA -fixed part of the Warsaw Pact; ...). But the book is mainly full of photographs from various parts of the Czechoslovak People's Army. There are also depictions of industry and agriculture of the former Czechoslovakia, military parades in Letná, photos from the period of battles from World War II (fighting in Dukla, SNP, liberation of Prague), sports activities of CSLA soldiers (DUKLA), but also military exercises with the USSR army and photographs of the "brotherly" armies of the Warsaw Pact. And if the reader closes his eyes to the statements at the time, he can see a diverse mix of photographs of equipment and soldiers from the then Czechoslovak Army.
