General Hugo ROZENŠTEINS (L.to.about.to.) (11 Jul 1892 - 30 Jul 1941)
After service in the Russian Army, joined the Latvian Army as a Captain on December 22, 1918. Arrested by the Russians in August 1940, he was sent to Moscow, tried and executed the following year.

1928 - Sep 1929: Battalion Commander, 5. Cēsis Infantry Regiment
Sep 1929 - 1933: Chief of Army Operations Staff
1933 - Aug 1934: Commander, 3. Jelgava Infantry Regiment
Sep 1934 - Nov 1935: Deputy Chief of the General Staff
(1935: Promoted to General)
Nov 1935 - 7 Oct 1939: Commandant, War College
7 Oct 1939 - 25 Jun 1940: Chief of the General Staff
25 Jun 1940: Retired
