Vlastné zariadenie PMP-79 je zabudované v kontajneroch ISO 1C na podvozkoch dvoch vozidiel TATRA T 813 8 x 8.
Okrem špeciálnej očisty výstroja a bielizne je možné bežne prať výstroj a bielizeň vojakov, bielizeň zdravotníckeho personálu, posteľnú bielizeň a pod. - „ nečistú „ ( zamorená výstroj ), - „ čistú „ – riadiaca aparatúra a čistá a vyžmýkaná výstroj.
Sušiaci voz je vybavený dvoma na sebe nezávislými sušičmi.
Sklad materiálu : tvorí zásoba PHM, chemikálií pre prevádzku súpravy, vytyčovací a osvetľovací materiál, stan pre skladovanie výstroja, vrecia a koše na prenášanie. V oddelenej časti kontajneru je sprchovací kút pre vlastnú očistu obsluhy.
