I would need advice if you can get bullets for the rifle Kropatschek 1886 Portugal 8x60mm, ie. if they are manufactured somewhere as collectors, or what other ammunition is usable (and available), or what ammunition can be modified for firing. I haven't come across anything yet, so I hope that there will be someone experienced who can advise. Thanks

I got the original training bullets with a wooden bullet. So that the bullet came out and leaded instead. I just need to find out what the correct bullet diameter should be.

The book Ammunition for small arms by Malimánek and Hýkel states that the projectile has a diameter of 8.03 mm; weight 15.80 g. Originally, a lead bullet with a paper collar was used and the charge was filled with black gunpowder. Later, a shell with smokeless dust was used.

I'm afraid I won't help you here (it's not my glass of rum Smile), but if you go through who contributes the most to the given section, or who is the moderator Smile (feel free to me) maybe it would be worth trying to contact them via SZ (private message) usually trying to help Smile (at least I do it and as I know people here it's common)

As far as I know, the bullets are said to be available from Řeháky in Česká Třebová.
