"...I would like to draw your attention to errors and inaccuracies in the published description radio station RTL 11.

All my active working life I spent in the Tesla Kolin (until her demise, then in the successor company) in the construction of special production and radio station RTL 11 I know.

The radio station originated from the radio station RTL 22 in cooperation TE-KO (Tesla Cologne) and the Research institute And. With. Popova Prague sometime in the year 1963-65.

Was developed the frequency switchboard – block C and a new control locker with mechanical memory. This removed the disadvantage of the radio station RTL 22, where for each channel had to use the exchange a crystal in the carousel control box.

Mechanical memory allow use 21kanálů. Encoding of mechanical memory is carried out using a coding key and coding of the ruler. I can't agree that the antenna in the photo of the stationary set above is not RTL11. It was dismantled with this set in the photos. I attach the photo of the "aerial" antenna to RTL-11

Don't have to agree, but it is the sheer fact that the antenna at the pictures of "stationary" RTL11 does not belong to the sets RTL11. She produced and supplied in the kit (see fig. ree dsc.jpg) according to the valid production documentation and binding document "Technical conditions for radio RTL11", where is this set defined, and according to this documentation was the radio between a representative of the military administration (PSOS). Again, I mention the radio station RTL11 never!!! been manufactured and supplied as "stationary", I can guarantee that Tesla Cologne or any other antenna or part of the "stationary RTL11 produced .Yes,RTL11 was used as ground, but it was a matter of customer or service. Even You published a picture of the antenna does not match. It is obviously přestříkaná. The antenna is supplied in a different colour .The insulating liner of the horizontal emitters was in the color of the casting of the resin, the vertical emitter has a light gray.And it was addressed to the technical documentation.
I still can explain why it probably wasn't in the "stationary" used original antenna RTL11. It is going to be set and measured in Tesla fortified on a metal relatively large cylindrical profile which imitated the fuselage of the aeroplane. This type of antenna requires a counterweight to the antenna have a desired impedance and VSWR in the frequency band. If the counterweight cannot be created, it is necessary to use another type of antenna that doesn't need it.

In many cases, it departments commonly use need as a backup or use them to strengthen your systems connection. With that I have personal experience, at the airport in Čáslav this work.
