Purpose: In cooperation with the VDD-80 evaluation device it is used for measurement of accumulated doses of gamma and neutron radiation.
Technical data:
The dosimeter accumulates gamma and thermal neutron doses independently of their temporal and quantitative distribution. It allows arbitrarily repeated evaluation without changing the recorded data.
The dosimeter can be evaluated within one hour of exposure with a tolerance error. The accumulated dose data shall be retained by the dosimeter for at least one year. An irradiated dosimeter shall not be regenerated under field conditions; it shall be replaced by a new dosimeter when the total dose of 1500 cGy is exceeded.
