The car was developed in Mlada Boleslav in 1939 as Škoda 150. After the war, production moved to the Aero car factory and was produced as the Aero 150 (until 1947). As part of reorganizations and in the automotive industry, production was transferred to the Praga plant. There it was produced with the designation Praga A 150 and served also in the CSLA.

The first series of cars Praga And 150 sa vyrábali vo version flatbed and skriňové vehicle, pre army vyrábané ako veliteľské and spojovacie vozidlá. In the period of the years 1949 to 1951 assumed čs. army 1222 prescribed vozidiel of bolo 121 kusov vo version sanitné vehicle.
Podvozok and powertrain of the car Praga And 150 bol odvodený from osobného car Škoda popular OHV type 943 in the year 1938. His development continued to behold during the second svetovej war ASAP Mlada Boleslav ( Akciová spoločnosť pre automobilový priemysel ). Since 1947 sa this type of got into serial production. Under the available prameňov bol the total number of produced vozidiel 3471 kusov.
