It is designed to transport a fire brigade with the accessories necessary to carry out a fire action with water or foam from own or foreign sources of extinguishing agents. In particular, to intervene in fires in places with a shortage of water.
The sprinkler is built on a Skoda 706 RTHP chassis, trambus body.
This is an upgrade of the ASC-16/ Skoda 706 (CAS-16/ Skoda 706) type. This had a 1,600 l/min pump.
Most of the CAS-16s were fitted with more powerful pumps and changed to the CAS-25 type.
The main change is the incorporation of a more powerful pump with a rated output of 2,500 l/min, resulting in a type designated ASC-25 (CAS-25).
