The Hungarian, large receiver R 1250 was designed for radio reconnaissance and REB (radio electronic warfare) It allowed operation with continuous tuning in the sub-bands 3 MHz (the first was 1.5 MHz) or using adjustable switches. The receiver still has perfect properties, the only disadvantage is the relatively unusual operation of the tuning knob. Only a piece of the circuit protrudes from the front panel and is tuned by moving up and down. The toggle switch control lever is used for quick retuning within the sub-range. There were also several types of demodulators for F1 and F6 as well as spectrum analyzers for the analysis of the type of operation.
