The RBM radio, sometimes referred to as RBM1, was one of the most widely used Soviet portable radios. It was created by upgrading the RB (radiostancja bataljona) station. For a short time after the war it was also used in the Czechoslovak army, where it arrived as a remnant with the units that came from the USSR. In other armies of the Warsaw Pact it served for quite a long time, it was produced under license in Poland and GDR.
