The EGD 01 receiver was created by simply modifying the SEG 15 so that only the circuits necessary for reception were used. Instead of a terminal stage for the transmitter, an NF amplifier for the loudspeaker and input bandpasses was built in. The intended use was as a backup receiver, possibly as a receiver for duplex operation in SEG 100D sets, and of course as a stand-alone receiver. It was not equipped with filters for receiving telegraphy, but this could be received. The receiver is quite rare, there is no information about its use in our territory.
