CZK - LZS-1 (ľahká zaštrkovacia súprava)

The lightweight gritterLZS 1 is a tractor gritter. The machine is designed to create a track bed beneath the laid track from the pre-compacted material, or to rake and tidy up the track bed material after the track has been removed. It consists of a modified crawler tractor S 100 or T 100 M adapted for running on rails, with a superstructure consisting of a front shield and two side wings fixed to the tractor's pusher frame. The shield and wings are hydraulically operated. Specially designed chassis belt links enable the vehicle to run on both Czech and Russian gauge rails. It belongs to the complex of mechanisms intended for the construction of railway superstructure.
The LZS was assigned to the units of the Railway Troops of the CSFA.

The trailer has a special multi-part plough, a device for height and directional adjustment of its parts and an auxiliary cantilever crane with a swivel boom.
