The AKS-5-75os photocoulometer is designed for internal installation in the cabin of an aircraft.It is used to evaluate the fire by scanning through the sight.It is usually mounted on a bracket located on the right side of the central windshield of the cabin.In the Czechoslovak Air Force, this photocoulometer was used by MiG-21, Su-22M4 and Su-25K aircraft.
The photocoulometer consists of a photographic section which contains a film spool and a photographic slit, and a lens which contains both focusing lenses and a mirror which transmits the image from the sight through the lenses to the photographic slit.
