The filtration and ventilation equipment of the FVKP is intended for the equipment of objects (anti-chemical shelters, etc.). The equipment supplies the necessary amount of purified air to the object for the persons in the object (shelter). The incoming air is purified by the FVKP equipment from poisonous and combat radioactive substances and biological warfare agents. Therefore, persons in a shelter equipped with an FVPC need not wear individual chemical protective equipment in a protective position during operation of the FVPC if the FVPC has been put into operation.
Types of filtration and ventilation equipment for FVCIs: (a) FVACP-M 1 (b) FVACP-M 1-E (c) FVKP-M 2
FVKP-M 1 has two and FVKP-M 2 has three FP-50 filters. FVKP-M 1 is equipped with a manually operated RV-49 fan. FVKP-M 1-E and FVKP-M 2 are equipped with an ERV-49 fan for electric and manual operation.
For shelter occupants and to create sufficient overpressure in the shelter, the FVKP-M 1 and FVKP-M 1-E supply 100 m3 of filtered atmospheric air to the shelter. The FVKP supplies 150 m3 of air. Outside contaminated air is drawn in by a fan through a back pressure relief valve, ducted through filters and an air quantity meter.
TTU: The crank speed for manual fan drive is 46 rpm. The power input of the electric motor type FJ3H82Z is max. 160 W at 2850 rpm and 220 V, fan power 150 m3/hr and at a total pressure of 97 mm water column.
