At the beginning of the 1960s, a new type of JAWA motorcycle was introduced into the services of the SNB, or its transport component. The requirement was protection from the weather and the motorcycle was therefore hooded, but this increased the weight and worsened the parameters, so it was not very popular and was relatively soon replaced by other types. by the end of the sixties they had been replaced and their nickname Nanuk (according to color and shape) became just a memory. The manufacturer of the motorcycle was the company JAWA in Týnec n/Sáz., The fairing was supplied by the production cooperative JAS in Pardubice.
