Bagration 1944


Near the town of Letovice organized by the Club of military history – Armored techniques, in cooperation with the city of Letovice and other clubs of military history, 22.8. 2009 vojenskohistorickou event named Bagration 1944.
As well as the actions of Fight for Kiev of 1943, and Kursk 1943, this event is routed to the participation of a larger amount of historical armored techniques and of course the accessories belonging to the topic. It is planned the participation of, for example, a few pieces of the legendary T-34 tanks, SU-100, a copy of the Tiger tank, German truck Sd.Kfz. 9 FAMO, transporters Sd.Kfz. 251/1 and the amount of wheeled equipment. The reconstruction will involve about 500 of historically uniformed soldiers (i.e. members of clubs of military history from the CZECH republic and abroad).
Can a credible reconstruction of one of the battles of operation Bagration in 1944. Visitors should view the presentation not only historical, but also modern military equipment, period camps of the participating armies and other attractions. It is prepared a rich full-day program and the martial demonstration will take about 90 minutes.
