SOV - AGITAB-500-300 (agitačná bomba)

The AGITAB-500-300 agitation bomb is designed to disperse agitation literature over enemy territory when dropped from a soaring flight from an altitude of 150 to 500 m at a flight speed of up to 1,500 km/h and from a horizontal flight at an altitude of 700 to 25,000 m at a flight speed of up to 3,000 km/h.

The AGITAB-500-300 agitation bomb is adjusted by one AT-EB ( ATM-EB) or TM-24B igniter with MDV-4 retardant, one disconnecting mechanism and one parachute shell ejector.

The bomb is painted with grey enamel. On the joint between the front and rear of the bomb there is a black strip 10 mm wide, 120 mm long

The bombs are suspended from the aircraft as the FAB-500.

The Bomb consists of :

Citace - tomas3127 :

does anyone know the material in the picture?
it was found in our work during cleaning and no one knew what it was, so it was better disposed of in a bursting pit.
I managed to take a picture of it and I would be interested in what it is.
These are the spare/backup ("ZID") projectiles ("ZK") and the disconnection mechanism ("RM") for the AGITAB-500.
Such a container with ZK and RM has always belonged to a certain number of AGITAB bombs.

Don't miss the AGITAB mark - it's otherwise a normal box bomb of the RBK series and the unit could be filled with "anything", except for the leaflets, PTAB-2.5 was considered; AO-2.5; AO-2.5RT; AO-1, ZAB-2.5 ...

Surely you have found only these four. 8 =)
I don't think there were even more of them in Slovakia ...

How it was initiated
Simply put - on the "rough part" (left) there is an external thread and the whole RM + ZK is screwed into the appropriate cavity in the RBK head
The plug is screwed in the "rough part", in these RM + ZK it was metal but it can also be plastic/bakelite, it was dismantled and in its place screwed some aviation time lighter with a detonator (flag "& # 1041;" at the end of the marking, flag "A" usually means a detonator or detonator) or other igniter accessories - MDV unlocks and the like.
The dust charge in the RM + ZK is protected in the lighter bed only by a foil, so the igniter igniter initiated it reliably and the whole RM assembly incorporated and pushed the RBK contents out of the case backwards, disintegrating the holders and throwing papers or ammunition.
