The RBK-250-AGIT aerial agitation bomb is a cluster bomb modified for dropping and dispersing leaflets with agitation content by Air Force means. It is designed for both combat and training use.
The RBK-250-AGIT is a modification of the RBK-250 airborne cluster bomb.
The bomb can be hung on all types of hangers on which RBK-250 bombs can be hung.
Combat use of RBK-250-AGIT bombs is limited only by a maximum instrument airspeed of up to 800 km/h.
A5 or A6 size agitation material is suitable for the bomb. The four magazines in the body of the bomb can hold approximately 18-20 kg of agitation leaflets (depending on the type of paper), i.e. approximately 12 000 A5 leaflets and approximately twice as many A6 leaflets.
The bomb breaks down into 11 metal parts, weighing between 1,0 and 35 kg, after the agitation filling has been ejected.
The most favourable height for ejecting the agitation charge from the body of the bomb is 400 to 200 m above the ground. Optimum use of the bomb is at wind speeds up to 5 m/s.
The bomb body is of thin metal plate with a stabiliser at the rear. The front part is closed by the bomb head.
Main technical data :
Max. format of the agitation material : A5
Weight :
Agitation bomb : 72 ± 3 kg
Agitation cartridge : 19 ± 1 kg
