During the hostilities in Ukraine, Major General Andrei Sukhovetsky, deputy commander of the 41st All-Union Army, was killed.
This information was first reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent Aleksandr Koc in an unsourced cable.
This information was then confirmed to a Radio Liberty correspondent by Sergei Chipilev, a representative of the Union of Russian Paratroopers in the Kirov region.

RF President V.V. Putin promised to pay a total of 7.421.000,- rubles (64.093,-Eur) to the families of soldiers killed in Ukraine. He stated this at a meeting of the RF Security Council on 03.03.2022.


Thus, in addition to the insurance premiums, the state will contribute to the family of the fallen with a one-time supplement in the amount of 5 million rubles (43.183,-Eur). Wounded soldiers who, as a result of their injuries, will be incapable of further military service, will receive a one-off allowance in the amount of 2 million roubles (17,273,-Eur). In addition, they will be paid monthly supplements to their disability pension.

The first footage of the destroyed An-225 Mriya (and other equipment around the hangar) has appeared on YT. I don't know who the real author is, the channel where I took it from is listed in the source.





It's worth comparing this footage with a Russian TV Pervik Kanal report probably shot later - see the post in the monitoring of the day 04.03.2022 - where the destroyed Russian equipment is already absent.
