A group of at least six to seven gunmen in the early hours of the morning attacked the base of the MINUSMA in Timbuktu. At approximately 6:30 there was a car explosion at the base of the nigerian contingent of UNPOL (the civilian police of the UN), located in the former hotel La Palmeraie and the shelling of the base of the mortar. One nigerian national was injured,from the place all morning shooting took.
