Letoun Královských Australských vzdušných sil Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet, reg. A44-223, v./sér. č. AF-23, provozovaný 1. perutí, byl poškozen při startu z Amberley RAAF Station, QLD (YAMB). Při startu došlo k vyjetí letounu mimo dráhu, úspěšné katapultáží obou pilotů a následně ke kolapsu předního podvozku (nebo k jeho zapadnutí do teréní nerovnosti).
