Podle zprávy velitele oddílu baterie ztratila 02.09.1939 při přesunu 1 kanon v důsledku náletu. Padli 2 dělostřelci a další 2 byli zraněni. Zahynulo rovněž 7 koní.
03.09.1939 byl v boji s jednotkami 2. lehké divize u města Szczekociny ztacen v důsledku dělostřelecké palby další kanon.
03.09.1939 při nočním ústupu z města Szczekociny padla baterie do palebné léčky obrněných automobilů 2. lehké divize a 1 kanon se od baterie oddělil. Některé zdroje uvedené v práci Zarzyckého však tvrdí, že baterie ustupovala se všemi kanony.
07.09.1939 byl ztracen kanon (podle Zarzyckého poslední), když při ústupu podporované korouhve setníka Szawłowského byl v prostoru obce Jaworów Solecki napaden a zničen německými letadly.
Poznámka:
Note:		 1) První mobilizační činnosti byly zahájeny už 23.08.1939, ale při poplachové mobilizaci 23.03.1939 baterie mírového stavu doplnila II. četu na válečné stavy a tato četa byla zařazena do hotovostní 3. baterie. Ke své baterii se vrátila 28.08.1939 a místo ní nově mobilizovaná četa byla odeslána ke 3. baterii.
2) Podle Zarzyckého 07.09.1939 baterie ztratila poslední kanon. Ze zbytků příslušníků baterie byla při reorganizaci 8. hulánského pluku vytvořena Jízdní jednotka baterie, která bojovala v jeho řadách do jeho kapitulace 23.09.1939. Głowacki ji uvádí stále jako 1. baterii 5. oddílu jízdního dělostřelectva v sestavě 8. hulánského pluku.
3) Baterie byla organizačně v sestavě oddílu, ale po přidělení k podpoře některého z jezdeckých pluků brigády byla operačně podřízená veliteli podporované jednotky:

04.09.1939-08.09.1939 byla baterie při ústupu, po ztrátě spojení podporovaného pluku s brigádou, organizačně i operačně podřízená veliteli 8. hulánského pluku

Note:
1) (08.11.1901-DD.04.1940). After the battery was disbanded, together with a group of artillerymen, he escaped German captivity. The group tried to sneak into Hungary, but fell into Soviet captivity and Dąbrowski was murdered by NKVD officers in Kharkov. On 07.10.2007 he was promoted in memoriam to the rank of major.
2) (18.03.1915-16.05.1995). During the night retreat he separated from the battery with one gun and after a separate retreat DD.09.1939 he encountered the 3rd battery, which he joined. After the end of the fighting he tried to get to Hungary, but fell into German captivity on 28.09.1939. Before the war he graduated 4 years of the Faculty of Metallurgy at the Mining Academy in Krakow. He completed his education as a metallurgical engineer and defended his diploma thesis on 21.01.1945 in the prison camp Gross-Born, where the professors of the Mining and Metallurgical Academy were also staying. This diploma was nostrified by the Faculty of Metallurgy of the Mining Academy in Kraków on 01.03.1945. In his further work, he received a doctorate and professorship and an honorary doctorate from the Mining and Metallurgy Academy in Kraków, where he also died and is buried.

3) (11.08.1913- DD.MM.YYYY). This is how he is listed in the March 1939 schematism (Rocznik Oficerski 1939). Przemsza-Zieliński lists Stanisław Brzoza-Brzezina, internet source no. 2 lists Ottokar Stanisław Brzoza-Brzezina. After the end of the fighting, according to Internet source No. 2, he was taken prisoner by the Germans. However, he is not mentioned in the list of prisoners. After the war he joined the ranks of the Polish People's Army, in which he was promoted to the ranks of captain, major, lieutenant colonel and colonel. In 1998 he was living in the then Walbrzych Voivodeship.
On 06.09.1939 he was sent with a one-cannon platoon (the last cannon of the battery) to support the 8th Hulan Regiment under the command of centurion Szawłowski. On 07.09.1939, the last gun was destroyed during an aerial bombardment, but the remnants of the platoon joined the rest of the battery on 08.09.1939 and continued fighting as the Cavalry Unit of the 1st Battery, 5th Mounted Artillery Detachment.
4) (19.01.1913-DD.MM.1940). Until the alarm mobilization in March 1939, he was the commander of the firing platoon. It is not known if he was assigned to the cash 3rd Battery between 23.03.1939-28.08.1939. After the end of the fighting he was taken into Soviet captivity under unknown circumstances and was murdered by NKVD officers in Kharkov. On 07.10.2007 he was promoted in memoriam to the rank of lieutenant.

5) (08.08.1906-DD.MM.19RR). Przemsza-Zieliński mentions Parchoł. He is not listed in the list of casualties or prisoners.
