The R 313m2 radio receiver is a portable communication device for receiving telephone and telegraph signals, it can also be used for on-the-go operation.

The receiver, despite its designation, is not a direct successor of the R313. Except for three tubes, the rest of it is equipped with transistors. The frequency range is also adapted to the newer R323 and R326 series of portable receivers or their upgraded versions.
