History:

The brigade was founded 1.1.1963 in Ussurijsku on the basis of 77. orb. (separate reconnaissance battalion).

The brigade was formed after the regulation 4/226 approved 3.7.1962 deputy chief of the general staff of the soviet army and navy, army general In. Ivanov. According to this regulation, was made up of:

- command

- connecting group

- a separate battalion

- command security


Forces assigned soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers, for the period from 18.November 1962 to 10.January 1963 was the place restored and repaired barracks, training building, staff, dining room, bathroom, water supply. During this time was carried out the construction of the necessary výcvikovo-material base for the planned training and for combat training.

As a result of combat and political training in 1967, the brigade has ranked among some of the best units of the KDVO and enrolled in the Book of honour of the troops of the KDVO. All members of the unit officially thanked by the commander of the DVO.

In 1968, a soldier of the 1. battalion 1. company, sergeant Vasilevsky for the first time in the history of the Littoral ran the route Ussurijsk - Vladivostok. 104 km was overcome in 8 hours 21 minutes. Your run sergeant Vasilevsky devoted 60. anniversary of the VLKSM.

Among the 22. up to 27.June 1970, the soldiers participated in the exercise survey conducted by the chief of staff of the circuit. The activity of the soldiers during the exercise test, the Commission GRU, headed by lieutenant general Tkačenkem and colonel Gapicinym. During the exercise the troops were landing by parachute in the Littoral, the Amur region and further on. o. Sakhalin and meet all tasks with a rating of "good". 21. 28. August 1971, the soldiers participated in the exploratory exercise of the circuit, in the course of the exercise 20 RGSpN (reconnaissance group of the SpN) jumped off a parachute in the Littoral, the Amur region and around the o. Sakhalin and was followed by the implementation of exploratory tasks. All objectives were successfully met. Homeland appreciated the work of soldiers - explorers.

In 1972, for excellent performance in combat and political training and to celebrate the 50th. anniversary of the USSR, the Presidium of the Supreme soviet, the Council of ministers of the USSR awarded the medal granted to an eternal memory.


In the years 1973, 1974, 1975 for outstanding achievements in the field of education, the brigade was declared to be excellent and checked into the Book of honour of the troops of the KDVO.

In 1983 they were in the brigade opened the cadre sections.

The brigade was awarded:

1967 - the Memorial banner of the CENTRAL committee of the CPSU.

1972 - Honorary badge of the Council of ministers of the USSR.

1975 - a temporary Red banner of the KDVO.

Afghanistan 12 officers, 36 soldiers and sergeants.

Konstantin Nikolayevich Semyonov, a native of the village of Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk region, major, company commander minérů 14. brigade SpN. From 1987 to 1988 participated in combat operations in Afghanistan. He died 14.march 1995 in a combat mission near a station Červlenaja-Uzlovaja.

Mikhail Vasilyevich Kolesnik, born in 1967, Ussurijsk, captain, 14. brigade SpN. Arrived in the north Caucasus 18. January 1995, died on 19.January 1995 in a combat mission near the town of Mozdok. Captain M. Kolesnik became the first of the Seaside, who died in the first chechen war.

Sergei Vasilyevich Krynin was born in 1982, in the village of Krasnij Istok Amur region, private, older explorer, 308. ooSpN 14. brigade SpN. Killed in action 06.04.2002.

Combat reconnaissance group № 603 at the village Seržeň-Gers, 15. January 2000. In this battle killed three soldiers of the SpN.

Yevgeny Vladimirovich Strokač, born in 1979, Ussurijsk, sergeant, deputy commander of the 14. brigade SpN. Killed in action 15.January 2000, near the village Seržeň-Yurts. He was buried in the cemetery in Ussurijsku.

Viktor Nikolaevich Bogdanov was born in 1976, the village Leženki, Kursk region, pfc, 294. ooSpN 14. brigade SpN. 15. January 2000, when fighting in conditions of poor visibility, he didn't come to the rally point section. Later it became known that he was executed by chechen fighters.

Sergej Aleksandrovič Djundin, born in 1980, the city Dalněrečensk, Primorskij Region, pfc, radio operator, 294. ooSpN 14. brigade SpN. Killed in action 15. January 2000 due to the mortal injury of the chest. He was buried in the cemetery of the village Dalněrečensk.
