AM-70 EX
Car bridge AM-70 EX is designed for bridging of dry and water obstacles for the needs of the transportation technique with the parameters in the MLC 70 (Military Load Classification) according to STANAG 2021. The uses carried on the bridge structure, which allows a seamless joining of the individual bridge fields M70 EX.
AM-70 EX is built on the chassis of the Tatra 815-7 and carries one of the bridge field M70 EX with one detachable retractable support leg. One field of the bridge can bridge the barrier with a length of between 10 to 12.5 m and a depth of 2 to 6 m. by connecting several of the bridge boxes (maximum of 8) it is possible to bypass the barrier with a total length in the range from 10 to 106 m. the load Capacity of the bridge M70 EX in compliance with MLC 70 according to STANAG 2021 ensures the passage of tracked vehicles and truck with trailer to a speed of 20 km/h. The bridge the car can be equipped with buldozerovou blade, which is designed to edit the terrain for the construction of the bridge and the adjustments to the access roads. One set consists of four cars, the AM-70 EX.
Most M70 EX is the margin type čtyřnosníkovou structures and is fully compatible with older generations of bridges of transported cars AM-50.
Project development of a bridge car of the new generation of AM-70 EX was launched at the end of march 2017. In the framework of the operational programme Enterprise and innovation for competitiveness has been its development financially supported by the Czech Ministry of industry and trade. In 2018 the total recognised costs for the development and production of the prototype amounted to 24 102 000 Czk, of which the amount of aid from the state budget represented 6 026 000 Czk..
