Rifle OSV-96 is really referred to as ostřelovačská (the russians, perhaps the term protimateriálová rifle do not use).
The emergence of weapons in the early fall of 1990 when it was developed (still under the name V-94) and in the individual pieces used operationally in Chechnya, combat deployment has enabled to remove some of the problem solving and the gun was after the improvements redesignated OSV-96 and introduced into the arms.
