Section tds 93 was 23. July 1943 renamed to Heavy troop tank destroyer ground forces 93, sent from 26. panzer division, re-classified as Heerestruppe, or a unit of the general staff and handed over to the available 7. army. (the so-Called. Heerestruppen were not an organic part of the division or brigade, but by means of OKH were allocated to corps, armies or groups of armies and you - as a whole or in parts - used according to the tactical needs).
In August 1943 he received the 29 tds Nashorn.


After completion of training, section 14. September 1943 moved, to Italy, where the subject army Group B. 2. the company section was 18. February 1944 reassigned to the 24. panzer division.
26. April 1944 was followed by the allocation of the entire section to the LII. army corps. In may 1944 received a section 5 Nashornů, during June and July another twenty.
In the summer of 1944, the section deployed in the southern Ukraine and suffered so heavy losses that it ceased to be combat-ready. In mid-September was therefore translated into Potsdam to supplement state, rearmament and retraining to Jagdpanthery and the assault cannon. Due to the war situation it was not possible to make this happen, at the end of November 1944 was only 1. company section dozbrojena twelve Nashorny and moved to the western front, where it was made available to the 19. army for the offensive in the Ardennes and the allocated Panzer brigade 106.
After the failure of the ardennes operation was mid-February 1945 the remaining Nashorny 1. company of the Heavy section of the tank destroyer ground forces 93 passed 1. the company Heavy section tds 525 and together with the torso Panzer brigade 106 was reassigned to the scope of the army Group B to defend the western borders of the Empire.
Only 10 non-commissioned officers and 19 members of the team from the original 1. company section escaped the encirclement and destruction of German forces in the Ruhr. You were at the beginning of April 1945 assigned to the newly formed Panzer division Clausewitz.
