Tank design by the talented engineer Étienne Edmond Œhmichen, who served as formal assistant to General Estienne and deputy director of Peugeot. The tank was inspired by the Renault FT tank, but Œhmichen developed a new type of chassis, a new electric steering system and a pair of independently controlled tracks. The original form of the only prototype built was a classic turret concept. Subsequently, the turret was replaced by a superstructure in which a 75 mm Schneider cannon and machine gun were mounted. The prototype thus modified was completed in 9/1918. The interesting superstructure of rounded shapes was up to 40 mm thick. However, the project was not completed in serial form, probably due to the end of World War I.
