A system of radio-electronic combat designed to disrupt the means of radio-electronic reconnaissance (including radars and air intake means - so-called AWACS) of a potential adversary. Introduced into the Russian Armed Forces in 2012 and since 2013 it has also been released for export (probably a slightly modified export version). The system is located on the chassis of an off-road vehicle BAZ-6910-022, the range of interference is up to 150-300 km.


1L269 is the successor of the older Pelena-1 system. It is designed to work in separate REB battalions together with the system 1RL257 Krasucha-4. The development of the device was provided by the Gradient design office in Rostov-on-Don, the production is provided by the NPO Kvant of the KRET Group. The initial delivery of 1L269 systems for the needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was completed in October 2014. In 2015, the delivery of two more newly ordered systems is planned.


The device itself is located in a rotating (360 °) superstructure on the chassis of an off-road vehicle BAZ-6910-022. The staff consists of 7 people.
