¹⁾ After a siege battery motorized group regiment of the SS "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" fell into captivity. After release from captivity he was transferred to 4. anti-tank main artillery regiment as commander of the I. section.
²⁾ After the collapse of the section (in the evening 09.09.1939) retreated 4. batteries to Warsaw, where in its ranks fought until the surrender, as commander of the gun in anti-tank defense. After the surrender of Warsaw he escaped capture and got to Krakow, where he took over the courier between the Polish resistance and the Polish konsulátem in Budapest. In December 1939 joined the ranks of the of the Union of armed struggle. During one of the return to Poland was in June 1940 detained in Kosice, Slovak gendarmes. After the escape, he got to Turkey, where he joined the Polish exile army. Separate brigade podhalanských shooters in 1941 participated in the defense of Tobruk. In December 1941, was as an artillery observer in the front line badly wounded in the battle in the Bardie. In the period of the war was povýšován to the rank of lieutenant and captain. After the cure has not been able to further military service and was accepted into the diplomatic service. From 1948 he lived in South africa and several years in Rodézii. In 1984 he returned to Poland, where 21.10.1987 died in Warsaw at the age of 77 years.

In schématizmu from march 1939 (Rocznik Oficerski 1939) is, however, listed as the commander of platoon 2. battery lieutenant of artillery Ignacy Leon Kulczyński. It is perhaps a confusion of names.
